Just a quick note before we head out. Last night I flew from Saint Loius to Dallas.
I ordered a beer at the Saint Louis airport last night and I got carded! I got freaking carded! Whoo hoo! The cute waitress was apologetic and my first response was to say, are you kidding? It’s the highlight of my week! I caught myself just in time though, lowered my voice and instead said, “No problem baby, I get carded all the time!”
When women roll their eyes that’s a good sign, right?

hahaha..yes, i always roll my eyes when i'm really attracted to a guy or when he says something really cute. ;)
i got carded the other day at the store. i said to the lady "you're joking, right?" she said nope. so i said "i hope you're good at math then" hahah...
but then once, i went to the store and a deaf woman was working the register (we have a deaf school just down the road), and when she rang up my wine, i started to hand her my ID and she made a sweeping motion with her hand around her face and she said "no, i can tell". ha. thanks a LOT lady!

I remember the day I turned 18 I volunteered to go to the gas station across the street to get some cigarettes for one of my co-workers (since I don't smoke myself). They didn't card me. I was so disappointed. :(
I'm 39 and still get carded on occasion (although I rarely drink so the opportunity doesn't happen very often). My theory is they card me to make me feel flattered so that my tip will be larger.
Look at that... you're leaving a trail of admirers at every airport... maybe it's a good thing you're not flying your own plane! Anyways, I hear your stewardesses aren't as cute as the American Airlines ones (c;

heh. I still get carded all the time. Cracks me up! then, when they see my id, they tell me I don't even look over 21. Yeah, right. LOL
