I think the stuff we put all over them are what make them bad. LOL like cheese, sour cream, bacon, etc.

I'm a big believer that things that come from the earth are good for you.Andiehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/02985102922053973445noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5957327370323163720.post-70079851886303212112007-11-20T13:17:00.000-08:002007-11-20T13:17:00.000-08:00I agree that potatoes are awesome, but fortunately...I agree that potatoes are awesome, but fortunately I am not an addict.

I want to drive a hybrid now, just because it sounds like an interesting experience.Tanyahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16652077056817527518noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5957327370323163720.post-44778207296569812712007-11-20T13:15:00.000-08:002007-11-20T13:15:00.000-08:00crunchy on the outside, warm and gooey on the insi...crunchy on the outside, warm and gooey on the inside and just brimming with starchy goodness

Ha ha! I just had a bowl of homemade potato soup for lunch in fact.Sauntering Soulhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/14828034063817184110noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5957327370323163720.post-4412674627409805092007-11-20T07:14:00.000-08:002007-11-20T07:14:00.000-08:00Thanks Erika! Since it is so easy to delete a post I figured why make people jump through that hoop?

I'll have you know I use dictionary.com quite regularly! And BOOKS? You forget my fascination with history! Sure I have heard of those! It stands for Bio Optical Organized Knowledge Storage.

It was a very cool concept! They used analog indexes in both the front and back of BOOKS which contained analog pointers to page frame addresses so you could randomly access desired data without having to do sequential reads from the file header to the end-of-file marker thus eliminating full data scans resulting in a vast reduction in required I/O for a given data fetch! It greatest flaw though was it was always a single-threaded process. Latch wait times for multiple BOOKS scans could run into minutes or even hours.

Still, it was absolutely brilliant stuff even if it is deeply obsolete.
;)NerdyRedneck Robhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08197976874612713015noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5957327370323163720.post-43131699116289251932007-11-19T21:22:00.000-08:002007-11-19T21:22:00.000-08:00Just in case anyone tries to read that last commen...Just in case anyone tries to read that last comment, it's an ad... don't bother getting out your translational computers (yes...
